Mr. Broadman is the Founder and a Portfolio Manager at Astignes Capital. Prior to founding Astignes in 2017, he co-founded Alphadyne Asset Management in 2005 where he was the Asia CIO.

Mr. Broadman spent fourteen years (1991-2005) in Asia with J.P. Morgan, concluding his tenure there as Asia Vice Chairman and Head of Markets, including rates, credit, and equities. He was a member of the investment bank’s Global Management Committee.

Mr. Broadman earned his MBA and Ph.D. in Financial Economics from the University of Southern California. He was an Assistant Professor of Finance at Arizona State University before joining J.P. Morgan in New York in 1989.

Mr. Broadman serves on the Board of Trustees at Rice University and is Chairman of the Rice Management Company. He was previously a Non-Executive Director of True Light Capital Pte. Ltd., a Temasek linked company, a Member of the Board of DBS Group Holdings Ltd., a Member of the Board of Singapore’s Central Provident Fund, and a member of the Investment Committee for Nanyang Technological University.
