Anita is a Managing Director in Cambridge Associates’ San Francisco office with a focus on private investments. Anita has more than 25 years of investment experience, 15 of those managing client portfolios at Cambridge Associates. She constructs top-performing, global private investments portfolios, in aggregate committing billions of dollars annually to the asset class. She is a trusted advisor to a broad group of clients, including universities, foundations, public pension plans, and private clients. Anita is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, and a leader of Cambridge Associates’ private investments research and manager due diligence.

In 2020, Anita was named in Chief Investment Officer’s annual list of Knowledge Brokers, a list of the most influential investment consultants and advisers.

Prior to joining Cambridge Associates in 2006, Anita spent approximately ten years as an investment banker, covering the technology sector for CIBC World Markets, Credit Suisse First Boston and Banc of America Securities, and earlier in her career, working in Hong Kong with Merrill Lynch’s Asia Pacific Investment Banking Group focusing on Greater China clients. Anita identified, pitched, structured, and executed both private and public financings and merger and acquisition transactions. She also assessed appropriate capital structure and financing methods for existing and prospective client companies, evaluated potential acquisition targets and strategic partners, and oversaw all deal execution.

Anita received her MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and an AB in Economics, with honors and distinction, from Stanford University.
