Scott is a Managing Director at Cambridge Associates and a founding member of the co-investment practice. He builds customized co-investment programs, sources deals, and conducts due diligence on private equity, venture capital funds and co-investment opportunities. In addition, Scott constructs custom private investment portfolios and works with a variety of institutional investors ranging in size from $100 million to $25 billion, including universities, foundations, and retirement plans.
Scott has over nine years of direct private equity and mergers and acquisition experience and 18 years of broader investment experience. Prior to joining Cambridge Associates in 2012, he was an investment professional with ThomaBravo and Polaris Partners where he focused on middle-market buyout and growth equity transactions across a range of sectors. Scott previously worked at Aspen Technology, a seven billion dollar publicly traded software company where he helped lead corporate development activities . He was also previously an investment banker at Adams, Harkness & Hill Technology Ventures.
Scott received his MBA from Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and a BA in Government from Dartmouth College.
